Matt (front-end lead), shares some of his experiences from working at Colossusbets.
From the start, we knew that we needed to support a heterogenous set of B2B partners, whilst keeping a manageable codebase.
Using a modular artchitecture, we composed a responsive front-end framework to suit a comfortable general use-case. The continually evolving framewor uses AngularJS and Twitter bootstrap along with many other tools such as Bower, NPM, Grunt, Karma and SASS.
Designed from the ground up, the internal software eco-systems, spanning three continents and many tiers, was carefully architected for speed and reliability.
Supporting customers on three continents means planning and designing systems that support failure, are resilient, and can recover quickly.
As new features are dreamed up, collecting requirements and evaluating the best technologies mean making them a reality is a learning process.
Collaborating with multiple B2B Partners from single sites, to large platforms, communication and integrity is the key to success. With 23 sites live and more on the way, we won the trust of our customers, such as Betfair, BetConstruct, Betclic, Matchbook, Boylesports Oneworks, Bigbetworld, Tote Ireland.
Matt worked for me at Colossus Bets for 18 months up until September 2016. As well as being strong technically, I always found Matt to be reliable and committed throughout his time with us. Matt is also extremely good natured which means he fits easily into any environment and will be a strong team player wherever he works.Bernard Marantelli, CEO and Founder at ColossusBets Ltd.
Matt has been an invaluable part of the team. He co-created our new system architecture when it was re-launched in mid-2015, and since then has integrated with over 20 new partners and introduced a host of new features. He always has good ideas, and is generally excellent at getting the job done.Myles Milston, CTO at Colossus Bets.
